Dr Marthe Thirouin

Marthe graduated from the University of Lyon (France) in 2020, where she stayed for an internship. She then worked in mixed practice before completing a sports medicine assistantship. In 2022, she decided to move to Australia and worked for 18 months at Newcastle Equine Centre to continue developing her skills.

In January 2024, she commenced the joint Doctor of Veterinary Clinical Science degree and Equine Internal Medicine Residency programme split between the University of Queensland and REC Equine Specialists. Marthe enjoys all aspects of equine internal medicine, with a special interest in neonatal medicine and intensive care.
