Dr Lucinda Carr

Lucinda graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2008. After graduation, she worked in the UK in small animal practices for a few years before getting the travel bug.
Spending the next couple of years volunteering for various international charities performing desexing and vaccination campaigns, she landed permanently in Australia in 2012.
Work took her to the tropics of Mackay, QLD working in an advanced GP practice. It was here that she studied for and obtained her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, small animal medicine.
Lucinda’s primary interests include the human animal bond and the power of communication and problem based medicine in helping not only her animal patients but also their owners. She is passionate about helping students develop these skills.
