Alvin is a new graduate veterinarian from the UQ BVSc 2025 cohort. He started out volunteering at the hospital during Covid and eventually joined the UQ VETS team as an animal attendant and junior vet nurse before returning as a graduate intern veterinarian. He has been actively involved in engaging both current and future students throughout his degree and is a familiar face around the Gatton campus.

Alvin has a special interest in small animal behaviour medicine focusing in dog behaviour as well as anything surgery related. However, he still has a passion working with all animals spanning across the different species, including avian and exotics, production animals as well as equine.

Don’t hesitate to say hi when you see him around campus!
