Dr Simon Goodwin
Simon graduated from the University of Queensland in 2021 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with honours.
Simon made the most of his time at university volunteering on student run committees such as the Social Committee, Equine Special Interest Group, and was President of the University of Queensland Veterinary Students Association.
Simon moved to Warwick to start his career in a unique rotating internship moving between three clinics; equine referral, mixed practice, and a small animal GP clinic. He continues to work full time in mixed practice in Killarney, and casually in UQ’s urgent care department, having developed a strong interest in small animal internal medicine. He enjoys the challenge working with all animals, even treating some exotic animals (including Meerkat’s, Cheetah’s, and even a Giraffe) for the local Zoo.
In his spare time he enjoys watching football, camping, fishing, sinking tins, and four-wheel driving.
