Dr Nikky Brown

Nikky is a recently graduated veterinarian registered in Queensland, having completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) in 2024. She graduated with first class honours, a Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence, and is now a Small Animal Intern at UQ VETS.

Passionate about small animals, Nikky is undertaking the internship to further develop her skills in urgent care, shelter medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. She is dedicated to providing her patients with the best possible standard of care, with a particular interest in animal behaviour, veterinary analgesia and anaesthesia.   

Away from the clinic, Nikky dotes on her two beloved cats, Pixel and Pancakes, and her pet snake, Arnie. She enjoys reading a good book, painting, and playing her ukulele or a rowdy board game with friends.
