Bandula is a recently graduated veterinarian from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (first class honours) and Dean’s Commendations for Academic Excellence. Bandula previously obtained his BVSc (second class upper) from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, and his PhD from the Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University, Japan. He completed a six-month veterinary radiology internship at the University of Giessen, Germany.  He is now a Small Animal Intern at UQ VETS.

Bandula has a keen interest in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and Internal Medicine. He is undertaking the internship to develop his skills further, with a particular interest in veterinary diagnostic imaging and internal medicine.
