Mrs Ashleigh Noonan-Atfield
Ashleigh completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Wildlife Biology, Animal Welfare, Behaviour and Control, in 2008 at UQ's Gatton campus where she gained experience at Australia Zoo with dingoes, marsupials, camels, elephants, and foxes at Australia Zoo. She also studied at Kruger National Park in South Africa.
After working as a Canine Behaviourist for a year, in 2010 Ashleigh returned to UQ Gatton to complete an extended major in Veterinary Technology and while working at as a veterinary assistant and receptionist.
She returned to UQ Gatton in 2018, to work and teach in the UQ VETS Small Animal Hospital as an Emergency and Intensive Critical Care Veterinary Technician. Ashleigh takes pride in caring for the most critical of UQVETS patients.
