Wendy Graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004.  After graduation she worked in equine, mixed and small animal general practices and as a consultant equine anaesthetist.

Wendy is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Critical Care and a Member of the Equine Chapter (membership in medicine of horses). She was awarded her PhD thesis “Studies of alfaxalone in horses” in 2013.

Wendy’s primary clinical research interests include improving veterinary anaesthetic patient safety and total intravenous anaesthesia and pain management in horses.

Wendy is a member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists.  Her primary interests are equine anaesthesia and analgesia and her research interests include: total intravenous anaesthesia in the horse and improving equine pain management.
