Trish Farry is a clinical instructor in anaesthesia at the University of Queensland's School of Veterinary Science who works across Gatton and St Lucia campuses.

Trish is a certified nurse with specialist qualifications from the USA in Emergency & Critical Care and Anaesthesia. Her areas of teaching include small animal anaesthesia and analgesia and clinical practices for undergraduate veterinary and veterinary technology students.

Professional positions held by Trish include the Board of Regents for the Academy of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Technicians (AVECCT) and the Academy of Veterinary Technician Anesthetists (AVTA).

In 2008, Trish received an award as “The Clinical Member who has made the Most Outstanding Contribution to The Veterinary Technology Clinical Rotation.” In 2009, she received a UQ Citation for Outstanding Contribution for Student Learning.

Trish has published three book chapters and two journal articles in the field of small animal anaesthesia and analgesia.  She is the Conference Convenor for the Annual Veterinary Nurse and Technician Conference held at The University of Queensland.
